On Friday evening Dasha Kelly will speak
on the importance of poetry in our world. This event is free and open to the
public.
Join fellow writers for a Friday-Saturday
event exploring the many facets of publishing. Learn more about query
letters, custom publishing, writing communities, and landing the first book
deal. The day includes panel discussions with published authors and the
option of a one-on-one with an agent. This program is sponsored by the
Master of Arts in English Program, and supported by Red Oak Writing community
and Barnes and Noble Bookstore. The keynote speaker is author Jacquelyn Mitchard. This event requires registration and a fee.
